1. You can expect to be welcomed and to feel "at home" with us. You can also expect encouragement and direction from the Bible presented in a way that makes sense.

2. This is unlike any other "church" you've been to!  Our members and regular attenders come from many walks of life, from many different ethnic backgrounds.  We have babies to senior citizens, bikers to CPAs – you won’t believe how diverse and, yet, similar our congregation feels to you!

3. Don't feel compelled to give! We don't want you to feel compelled to participate in the support of our ministry until you feel comfortable enough to call Mountain Vista Bible Church “home.”

4. Dress Casual! Your suit is for work and dinners at fancy restaurants.

We don’t have any yet, and that’s a big YET! Every church has to start somewhere, and it’s actually our privilege to not have permanent buildings right away. MVBC is a church of people, not buildings. Our dream is to someday have land and buildings, but right now our focus is on people! It's a lot of work moving in and out of our current facility, but its everyday people like you who have taken ownership of making this church happen, and the work gets done. It's a blast!

We have an excellent nursery and Children's Ministry program that is ready to provide your child with a wonderful church experience. Each week, upon check-in of your child, you will receive a pager that will alert you both conveniently and anonymously if your child needs you.

There are so many opportunities to have a hand in this church. Small group ministry, music or drama ministry, Women's ministry, Men's ministry, Children’s ministry, student ministry, media, sound, set up and tear down, greeting, and on and on! There’s definitely a PLACE and a NEED for you!

Our goal is not to be unique, our goal is to be relevant! If you find a church that is trying to reach out and serve people who have blown off church, who try to truly care for every person that shows up, and attempts to teach truth from the Bible in a way that people can understand and enjoy, then we’ll probably look a lot like that!
